Rev. Nancy W. Strickland is our Interim Pastor. She is a native of Lexington, MA and has served churches in Wenham, MA and Hamden, CT. She is a graduate of Elmira College where she earned a B.A. in Psychology, and Simmons College where she received an MA in Elementary School Teaching and Special Education. She graduated from Andover Newton Theological School, in Newton, MA. with a Masters in Divinity. She completed the Spiritual Directors Certification and the Clergy Contemplative Leadership Programs at the Shalem Institute for Spiritual Formation in Washington, D.C. She is a life long member of the United Church of Christ and was ordained to the ministry in the United Church of Christ in 2003. She and her husband Mark, who is a retired United Church of Christ pastor, have two children and four grandchildren. |

Helen Hill became the church’s Administrative Assistant in 1995, filling a varied role that includes being a receptionist, scheduling church building use, and producing church publications. She and her husband, Bob, have two sons. |

Ronna Davis has served as Organist and Music Director since 1983, blending her musical avocation with a full time career in sales. Through her warm, person-centered approach, she has helped First Church adapt to changing musical styles and involved many people in its music program. Participation and not perfection is her mantra. She encourages both children of all ages as well as adults to bring their instruments and talents to enrich the worship service experience.If you would like to participate, but don’t know quite what you might like to do, speak with Ronna. She will help guide you with music selection so that, whatever your previous experience, comfort level, and ability are, you will shine. |

A long-time member of First Church, Susan Crimer brings extensive experience and training in Christian Education and Worship to the job of supervising Footsteps, our vibrant and successful Sunday School program for preschool through eighth grade. She holds a Master of Education degree. Susan and her husband, Dennis, have three adult children. |
| Andrea Driscoll, Administrative Coordinator | Andrea Driscoll‘s background is in education and art, but she has used her training and knowledge to blend a successful career in teaching, fundraising and art. Her passion has always surrounded children and creating awareness of the needs of a healthy community. A graduate of Lesley College, Cambridge, she holds a BS in education and a minor in art. Her diverse career includes teaching middle school English, art and various college-level courses ranging from English to non-profit development, but she has also held senior-level Development positions in museums and non-profits such as Boys & Girls Club, the Danforth Museum of Art and the American Red Cross. Andrea is a member of the Sterling Garden Club, the Princeton Arts Society and Arts Worcester. When she is not at First Church, she provides resource development consultation to small non-profits and teaches art. She is a resident of Sterling, and is the mother of a daughter (also a development professional) and 2 grandchildren who attend Houghton School. |
