Thanks to all who donated clothing to our Hugely Successful children’s summer clothing drive! You live the words of Christ as you care for others, as you have done so well. 

             Our Sunday School mission focus is on hunger at home and abroad. We have formed a Heifer Challenge team, Team FCWB- for First Church Water Buffaloes. We have never done anything like this before! Every member of the congregation, young and old, will have a chance to participate, and you will really, really want to be a part of the action. It’s huge, it’s fun, and it’s a lesson to remember!

As we begin our preparations for the holiday season, we count our many blessings! Footsteps kids and First Church adults are invited to contribute non-perishable food items to our Ingathering celebration on Sunday, November 13.  Bags and instruction sheets will be available through November 6.

Holiday prep also means Christmas Pageant time is near! Mrs. Jolie will direct this year’s pageant, and if last year’s wondrous evening is anything to go by, we will have a beautiful presentation of the old, old story- and we will learn so much as we practice our parts!  All children are included in the pageant, from babies through eighth grade. Most rehearsals will take place in Sunday School as part of our classroom studies. Performance will be on Sunday, December 18.
