SUMMER WORSHIP SCHEDULE

July 17  Sanctuary – Place of Blessing – Meditation focus will be on Genesis 28: 10-19a and Matthew 13:31-33 and 44-52.  In Genesis, Jacob has a vision in which he sees the ladder connecting heaven earth and the place is called blessed.  Whereas, in Matthew we have the parable of the seed sown while the enemy sows weeds among the wheat.

July 24  Room 2 – Weaving the Future – Matthew 13: 31-33 and 44-52 focus on Jesus’ parables about the kingdom of heaven.  He describes the heavenly realm using several concepts:  mustard seeds, yeast, hidden treasure, pearls, and fishing nets.  How do you understand these metaphors?

July 31  Sanctuary – Face to Face – While Jacob is wrestling with God in Genesis 32:22-31, the gospel of Matthew 14:13-21 relates the miracle of the fish and loaves.  How does God bless us?

August Worship Services will be posted on our web site by the end of July

During July and August we will be utilizing Room 2 for our worship service on the 2nd and 4th Sundays and the 1st, 3rd and 5th Sundays in the Sanctuary .   During this transitional summer, we will not be having an outdoor worship service.   A light snack time will be held following each service in the Foyer.  While we will not be having a Sunday School program through the summer, coloring materials and books will available for children to use during the worship service.  All children, both young and old are welcome!
